I enjoy caring for my local park and beach!

I enjoy taking care of my local beach. I keep bags and trash grabbers at my back door. Several times a week I set out for my local park or beach and spend a few hours picking up trash. It makes me feel good to take care of these beautiful places.

We inspire others to clean up our beaches!

We love walking along the beach and always take along bags for the trash. People walking past us say thank you.
And sometimes when we see them again,

My children love litter cleanup events!

My children know the connection between litter on the ground and trash in the rivers and the ocean. They know that birds and turtles are eating or getting tangled in the plastic and non-degradable materials that we drop on the ground. But they also know that we can stop the flow of trash to the ocean. So we keep a bag in the car to prevent littering and we join regular neighborhood cleanups.
